That's the statement made by Ignasi Gijon Nieto, CFO of Simón Coll, the historic company producer of chocolate since 1840, which has chosen RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Smart to cover an 1800-meter roof at its Sant Sadurnì d'Anoia (Barcelona) headquarters, hosting also visitor center that offers sensory experiences of all kinds.
Owners of the historic Amatller brand, with a twenty million turnover, 120 employees, present in over 50 countries, Simón Coll is a family company in its sixth generation. Today Maria is at the helm, to whom her father Xavier passed the management of the R&D, with a company history that considers the quality of the products and the entire supply chain in detail, closely following all stages of processing, from bean to bar. RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Smart is a flexible PVC-P membrane, equipped with Solar Shield technology, a special coating that protects the external surface of the membrane from UV rays, thus increasing its durability. Being only 1.2 mm thick and supporting the LEED, BREEAM, and GREEN certifications, RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Smart is much more sustainable than any other synthetic membrane, because of its positive relationship between the resources used and the yield provided throughout its life.
