A cool colour roof is a membrane that combines a special coating with a unique colour pigment technology.
Such a combination makes the membrane reflective even with a different colour than white. Its advanced design includes integrated cold pigments that provide enhanced protection against solar degradation, prolonging the life of the roof while maintaining its visual and functional integrity.
RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Smart is available in two colours, cool grey and cool Ivory.
Cool Ivory has an SRI of 82.5, while cool grey has an SRI of 62.8 which is much higher than a RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Classic (SRI 38,9).
In every case where a white cool roof cannot be used because of landscape restrictions or glare issues, a cool colour roof is the right choice. Its glamourous colours inspired by nature fit in every building and environment, while at the same time providing energy efficiency.
