RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Smart is a flexible PVC membrane with woven polyester reinforcement, to which special reflective and absorbent pigments have been added (Solar Shield Technology) to achieve the cool colour function, a special coating that protects the outer surface of the membrane from UV rays, thereby increasing its durability.

It is much more durable than any other synthetic membrane, thanks to the positive ratio between the raw materials used and its performance throughout its entire service life.

This membrane is used as a waterproofing membrane in mechanically fastened systems.

Perfectly suited for lightweight metal deck structures.
Mechanical resistance (woven polyester reinforcement).
UV and fire resistance.

RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Smart is a next-generation waterproofing membrane developed by RENOLIT R&D department, designed for roofing applications. It combines durability, energy efficiency, and sustainability in a lightweight and innovative format.

It reduces the need for air conditioning by keeping the building cooler, thereby lowering energy consumption and CO₂ emissions.

Thanks to the exclusive cool pigments, RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Smart Cool Grey has an SRI of 62,8, while a standard grey PVC membrane has an SRI of 58,7. RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Smart Cool Ivory has an SRI of 82,5. Even if they are not white, they act on the roof surface temperature, lowering it down.

The innovative feature of RENOLIT ALKORSMART is its Solar Shield Technology. This revolutionary technology offers a high capacity to reflect solar irradiation, thanks to the use of special “cool pigments” that maintain low surface temperatures. 

Its SRI - Solar Reflectance Index – 62,8 in grey and 82,5 in ivory - is in fact far higher than the standard colours (e.g. 67,7° C for a standard grey vs 58,7° C for cool grey).
